We invited to the this years' TIM-RS User-Meeting followed by a garden Party on the TIM-RS software developer's premises in Radolfzell near the Lake of Constance. We celebrated our 25-year anniversary together with our customers, partners and friends including well-known companies among them Adobe, DMG, Langenscheidt, MTU, Schindler Aufzüge and Stihl.

Interesting Topics determine the TIM-RS User-Meeting

Dr. Walter Fischer looked back on 25 years of successful corporate history of Fischer Computertechnik. Founded in 1985 by Dr. Walter Fischer in Frankfurt/Main Fischer Computertechnik dealt at an early stage with software for graphic visualization, graphic administration and drawing-and document-administration. TIM the Technical Information Management was born and with this experience the basics for the today's innovative XML Editorial and Content Management System TIM-RS have been established.

Today almost 200 customers world-wide are creating their operating instructions, manuals, marketing documents as well as training and service documents in time and in the respective national languages with TIM-RS.

Klaus Jürgen Kurz of Adobe and Michael Schilling of Across, both long-standing partners of Fischer Computertechnik provided an impression of the new possibilities with regard to digital media and language technology for the technical documentation.

Where is TIM-RS heading for next? Rainer Börsig presented the latest developments of TIM-RS Classic and TIM-RS InfoManager to our customers and informed them what could be expected within the next two years. Finally Dr. Martin Gienger informed why it is necessary to keep up-to-date with the latest release.

First business, then pleasure

Together with our customers, partners and families, we celebrated the subsequent summer party in the beautiful garden of Fischer Computertechnik which was rounded off by music performed by the youth music orchestra of Stahringen and the cult band THE PACE. With balmy summer temperatures until late in the evening the guests mingled and chatted, enjoying grilled specialties. The logistic and catering were provided by the soccer friends of the TSV Stahringen. In addition, the FCT-team serenaded to Dr. Walter Fischer.
